This is a versatile light weight tripod, equally at home for photographic use or as a support for spotting scope or binocular with appropriate adapter. It features a pan and tilt head to mount your camera or spotting scope. The head also has a quick release platform that so that you can mount or dismount your camera or scope in seconds. The head, which can break to allow vertical orientation, and the tripod have built in bubble levels to help the user level the platform or tripod. There is a geared column which can be cranked up and down by the folding handle and can be locked in any position. The tripod legs have two extending sections which can be locked in any intermediate position. The legs are centrally braced and can be locked in at various angles by the central column lock. The ends of the legs have rubber feet for grip. Their is a hook on the bottom of the column from which a weight can be suspended to improve the tripods rigidity, and has a handle to carry the tripod when not in use. The tripod comes supplied with case.
